Using the latest technology, the Information Resource Center (IRC) specializes in providing up-to-date and authoritative information about the United States, its policies and positions, and their impact on current affairs. Citizens of Ireland who for professional or research purposes are interested in obtaining information about the United States may contact the staff of the IRC who will assist them with their information needs.
While the IRC is not open to the general public, it maintains the U.S. Embassy Web site, an information rich gateway to useful information about the United States. It offers official policy texts and documents, and travel information. For general information, visitors are referred the InfoUSA Website.
The Information Resource Center (IRC) publishes newsletters/handouts in various subject fields. These contain recent documents from U.S. government agencies, NGOs, think tanks, and periodicals. The most recent issues are listed here under each subject field.
