Ambassador Thomas Foley reached about 400,000* Irish television viewers of RTÉ 1 News at Six discussing President Bush’s announced framework for addressing climate change. 

Ambassador Foley highlighted the investment that the U.S. has made thus far in addressing this issue.  He also talked about the President’s message that climate change must be addressed by fostering both energy and economic security.  The President is committed to promoting clean energy technologies as a route to achieving the U.S. climate goals.
