Immigrant visa applicants, regardless of age, require a medical examination prior to the issuance of a visa. 

The medical examination is performed by one of the Embassy's appointed Medical Panel of Physicians, listed below.  The medical examination cannot be performed by the applicant's own physician.

Immigrant visa applicants will be sent a package of instructions regarding the medical examination prior to their immigrant visa interview.  Please do not arrange your medical appointment until you receive these instructions.  The medical results will be valid for 12 months.

Fees are payable to the physician at the time of the medical examination.
