DAS Boyer visited Dublin

DAS Spencer Boyer visited Dublin on March 8-9

Spencer P. Boyer, Deputy Assistant Secretary of State in the Bureau of European and Eurasian Affairs, visited Dublin March 8-9, during which he met with government and NGO leaders.  On March 9, he conducted a lively roundtable at the Institute of International and European Affairs (IIEA). The Institute has a number of working groups, one of which concentrates on the pivotal Ireland-U.S. relationship. The conversation included a host of questions on the transatlantic relationship, and how the United States and Europe are working together on global issues such as  climate change, Iran, the Middle East, Afghanistan and Iraq, among others.
