Average Processing Times

The average processing time for successful applicants is approximately two working days. This means the number of working days after a consular officer's decision to issue a visa. The passport with visa is then returned to the applicants by mail.

All applicants should be aware that the times given above are averages, and that the processing time of a specific case can vary due to individual circumstances and other specific requirements.  Some applicants may be subject to additional clearances or administrative procedures that may add weeks to the processing time.  Do NOT make travel commitments or purchase tickets until the visa has been received.  Prospective travelers should apply for visas early.
