Non-Immigrant Visas
Visa Applications for Non-Residents
We will accept visa applications once you are physically present in Ireland and make an appointment through the Visa Information Service. It is essential that you be prepared to wait at least three business days for the processing of your visa and the return of your passport. For example, applications/passports received on Monday should be delivered by mail on Wednesday. While passports should be delivered within three days in the vast majority of cases, we do not assume any responsibility for longer delays. We do not deliver passports to addresses outside of Ireland. It is essential that you arrange an address in Ireland for the return of your passport. Should you plan to depart Ireland within the three days required for visa processing, it is your responsibility to check with transport carriers on documentation required for travel.
Non-residents must follow the same application procedures as residents for a nonimmigrant visa, and you must provide sufficient postage for the return of your passport by mail.
Note: There is no guarantee that your visa will be issued. Should your visa application be denied you would not be refunded the visa application fee.
