The names of the firms and the addresses at which they are located are arranged alphabetically under the counties, and respective towns. The order in which they appear has no other significance.

It should be noted that the legal profession in the Republic of Ireland is composed of two groups: (1) Barristers, who concern themselves only with court cases and have the exclusive right to plead in courts, and (2) Solicitors, who deal with all other legal matters, and who alone retain a Barrister. All Attorneys listed are Solicitors.
