Passports

Adults:

• Mail-in Passport Renewal Fee is $75.00

• In-Person Passport Application Fee is $100.00 (First-time applicants, replacements for lost and stolen passports, etc.)

Minors (Under 16):

• Passport Application Fee is $85.00

Minors (Over 16 - Under 18):

• Passport Application Fee is $100.00

If applying by mail  the fee must be paid only by U.S. dollar bank draft made payable to "U.S. Embassy".  The bank draft must be the exact U.S. dollar amount of the fee payable.  If the amount is greater or less than the correct amount, we will return the bank draft to you by mail and request that you send us a draft in the exact U.S. Dollar amount. 

If applying in person, the fee may be paid by credit card (we cannot accept Laser cards), in cash, U.S. dollars or equivalent in Euro or by U.S. dollar bank draft made payable to "U.S. Embassy".  Again, the bank draft must be the exact U.S. Dollar amount of the fee payable.  We cannot give change if the amount of the draft you present is greater than the correct amount of the fee. 

The Embassy is not authorized to accept personal checks for payment of passport fees.
